Step into the shadows and you’ll find behind the curtain. He is a Dresden-based DJ who’s been shaping the scene for some three decades. With an instinct for mood, behind the curtain constructs a sound where rhythm collides with atmospheric depth. Rooted in techno but unafraid to wander, his work threads between the mechanical pulse of the dancefloor and the hazy edges of ambient and experimental realms—taking his audience from relentless groove to suspended abstraction, a contrast that defines his sound in particular.
